Because nutrition is optimal and the space is organised into channels, hydroponics makes it possible to place more plants on the same surface area, with shorter and steadier cycles. Dependence on soil and climate

Traditional farming depends closely on soil quality and the weather: a dry season, poor soil or a soil-borne disease can jeopardise a harvest. Greenhouse hydroponics is largely freed from these hazards. You can produce on land unsuitable for conventional growing, and smooth production across the whole year.
