200 m² NFT hydroponic greenhouse
The 200 m² model is our entry-level NFT hydroponic greenhouse, designed to launch a profitable operation without tying up a large plot of land.
Who is the 200 m² greenhouse for?
Do you want to move into soilless farming without taking on excessive risk? The 200 m² model is built for you. It suits project founders, young farmers and families who have a modest plot and want a controlled activity from the very first season.
This surface stays easy to manage day to day: one person is enough to handle crop management, harvesting and routine upkeep. You keep control of every step, without depending on a large workforce.
It is also the ideal format to validate your business model before considering an extension. You learn the trade on a solid footing, then grow at your own pace. And because the AIPIA subsidy can cover a large share of the investment, this first step stays financially accessible.
The NFT system on 200 m²
The NFT technique (Nutrient Film Technique) circulates a thin film of nutrient-enriched water in contact with the roots. The plants draw exactly what they need, which speeds up growth and keeps quality consistent.
On 200 m², the hydraulic circuit is sized to feed all the growing lines evenly. Water that is not absorbed is collected and put back into circulation: NFT hydroponics thus uses far less water than open-ground farming, a decisive asset in the Tunisian climate. In a country where water is becoming a precious resource, this frugality is a game changer for a sustainable operation.
You work standing up, on clean channels, with no weeding or tilling. Working comfort and production hygiene are markedly improved.
Concrete figures for basil
Basil is our flagship crop, sold under a guaranteed buyback at 8 DT/kg. On the 200 m² model, the confirmed figures are as follows.
The guaranteed buyback at 8 DT/kg secures your outlet: you produce knowing your harvest will be bought. You focus on crop management, we take care of sales.
With an investment of 12 000 DT and a public AIPIA subsidy of up to 55 %, the remaining cost becomes particularly accessible and the return on investment fast.

Frequently asked questions
What is the price of this hydroponic greenhouse?
The 200 m² greenhouse is priced at 12,000 DT; the other models are quoted on request. The AIPIA subsidy can reduce the investment by up to −55% in Tunisia.
What does the turnkey price include?
The structure, the NFT system, the hydraulic circuit, assembly and electrical installation, transport and initial training. A greenhouse ready to produce.
How long does it take to install the greenhouse?
Once the project and application are validated, the turnkey installation is carried out by our teams. The precise schedule is confirmed in your quote.
Are training and follow-up included?
Yes: initial training on delivery, monthly sessions and agronomic follow-up as part of a three-year contract.
What profitability can I expect?
On a basil crop with a guaranteed buy-back at 8 DT/kg, the estimated profitability is detailed in the ledger on this page. It depends on the size and on crop management.
How does the AIPIA subsidy work?
AIPIA subsidises innovative farming projects by up to −55% in Tunisia. We build the application with you, from study to submission.
What daily maintenance is involved?
Three main tasks: balancing the nutrient solution, pruning the plants and maintaining the circuit. They're learned during the training, on your own greenhouse.
Do I need good land to install the greenhouse?
Hydroponics frees you from soil quality. What matters most is a location, access to water and electricity — land unsuitable for conventional farming can work.
Can I change crops later?
The NFT system suits leafy and aromatic crops. We advise you on the crops suited to your greenhouse and your market.
What happens in a power cut?
A well-sized system tolerates short interruptions. Our recent installations include a solar power supply for greater autonomy.
